Hundreds join the fun at Race for Life event
MORE than 1,400 caring runners and walkers helped to raise an incredible £160,000 to support cancer sufferers.
The annual Race for Life took place at Trentham Estate on Tuesday night where scores of supporters made their way around the 5k course.
And organisers at Cancer Research UK say it was an evening of 'emotion, courage, tears and laughter' with many of those taking part doing so in memory of a lovedone. The popular annual event saw men, women and children either run, jog, or walk across the course.
