But grandad couldn't remember making the threat to kill
GRANDAD Graham Mainwaring threatened to stab his wife and petrol bomb their home - after being told he couldn't listen to music.
The 63-year-old had drank 16 bottles of Corona and was 'throwing wine bottles' when police were called to the property on Alsagers Bank High Street.
After being arrested, Mainwaring told police: "If you guys hadn't shown up when you did I would have stabbed them. I will go back home tomorrow and petrol bomb the place whilst they're sleeping."
