Events to celebrate centenary of Potteries polymath's birth
A 'UNIQUE' exhibition showcasing one of the city's most celebrated artists, playwrights and poets has been launched in the Mother Town.
The Barewall Art Gallery & Studio in Burslem is staging A Sense of Place as part of the Arthur Berry 100 centenary programme until September 21.
The exhibition explores the 'evocative' locations that shaped Berry's creative legacy.
Through rarely seen archive photographs, sound recordings of Berry's voice, and excerpts from his writings, poems and plays, A Sense of Place brings to life the vivid world he so memorably portrayed.
