PORT Vale defender Ben Heneghan revealed it will be the fourth time in his career he will have played against Arsenal should he be selected for next month's Carabao Cup tie.

The Valiants were handed a plum third-round tie against The Gunners - currently top of the Premier League - and Heneghan and his teammates are excited.

Speaking in the pre-match press conference ahead of the League One match at Reading, tomorrow, Heneghan said: “This is my fourth time playing them in the third round. It's a great draw isn’t it to be honest and to get them down here at Vale, I'm buzzing for it and everyone else is.

“There were group chats and everyone was happy with the draw.

“I think throughout your career you want to play against the best teams and the club of that size and everyone is relishing it.
