Green belt protection calls as dozens fight developer's plan for huge business park

It says site will create thousands of jobs
DOZENS of objectors are attempting to stop a 'high-quality business park' being built near their homes.
Developer Indurent says its plans for a site just off junction 16 of the M6 would create up to 3,500 direct jobs - with an additional 1,200 supported through the supply chain.
It proposes 'a range of building sizes, mainly industrial and warehousing' along with walking and cycling routes.
The company also wants to build a lorry park for 200 vehicles and remove 'substandard' lay-bys on the A500.
