Gambhir out to deal with issue

CRICKET India are without head coach Gautam Gambhir in the run-up to their opening Test against England after he returned home to deal with a family emergency.
-
Gambhir departed ahead of Friday's four-day warm-up match against India A in Beckenham having received the news.
It is not yet known how long he will be away and there is no certainty that he will be around to lead the side into next week's first Test at Headingley.
