Fundraiser for family after toddler's cancer diagnosis
The Sentinel
|August 19, 2025
THE heartbroken parents of a toddler have been left devastated - after their 18-month-old son was diagnosed with testicular cancer.
Doctors at the Royal Stoke University Hospital delivered the verdict after parents Isaac and Jennifer Bayoh noticed a 'lump' when changing baby Isaac.
Now an online appeal is trying to raise money for the Wolstanton family.
Dad Isaac said: “We were changing him when we noticed this lump on his testicle. We kept an eye on it for a week or two and noticed it was growing. We went to have it examined. The doctor was worried, so we were transferred to the oncology department. They did a CT scan and an MRI to confirm he had testicular cancer.
“He had to go to Birmingham Children’s Hospital to have surgery. They tried to remove all of it, but it’s a difficult area to operate on. They're doing more tests to see what treatment course he should have next.”
