Fate sealed with a kiss cam

I call it searching for inspiration. My husband calls it being nosey.

Either way, after five years at a desk in the spare room which faces the street, I've discovered a great deal more about my neighbourhood than I ever did in the 20 plus years of living here before Covid put paid to traditional office life.

So I know when the neighbour's kids are late for school (door slam before the news headlines - fine but after? They'll never make the bell). I notice too when the bloke with the beard is missing from his daily dog walk - same time, same route, same lamppost.
