FIFTY-ONE-YEAR-OLD Darren Steele has been handed a £212 court bill after he pushed into a man and tried to headbutt police officers at Hanley Bus Station.

Prosecutor Suzanne Swindail told North Staffordshire Justice Centre, pictured, the victim was at work when he called police at 4.10pm on January 3 to say he had been assaulted.

Miss Swindail said: "The defendant was in drink and was causing a nuisance. He pushed the worker who was not injured. Police attended.
