Woman rammed officer’s cars as she fled
A WOMAN who rammed into police cars during a 105mph chase was smoking monkey dust when she was pulled from the crash wreckage.
Tammy Wright was involved in two high speed pursuits in October 2024 and February 2025.
Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court heard the 38-year-old was involved in collision on High Street, Tunstall, on October 26 but left the scene.
Officers then spotted her Volvo swerving across lanes and cutting up drivers on the M6 a short time later. A police sergeant noticed that she seemed intoxicated as she was struggling to control the vehicle.
The 20-minute pursuit came to an end when the car was boxed in.
