Drink-driver ‘disappointed he had been reported to police’

Cops told he thought he’d get away with it
DRINK-DRIVER Kieran Rigby told police he was disappointed someone reported him saying ‘We are supposed to be a close community’.
The 29-year-old was arrested after officers received a report of a drink-driver in Millbrook Gardens, Blythe Bridge, at 10.40pm on August 10.
Prosecutor Suzanne Swindail told North Staffordshire Justice Centre: “Police attended the address of the registered keeper of the vehicle.
The vehicle was parked outside the address.
“Officers checked the vehicle.
There was no indication of recent movement. Police were allowed entry. He was told a breath test would be conducted.
