Dad broke woman's ribs in brutal street attack

DAD James Williams launched a brutal town centre attack on his ex-partner's friend that left her in hospital.
The 30-year-old 'lost his cool' after a night out in Burslem and punched the woman to the face and kicked her on the ground.
He told his victim and his ex he would 'batter and kill them both.' He then threw his ex against a wall.
The victim was hospitalised for seven days and had part of her spleen removed. Now Williams has been jailed for 14 months at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court.
The violence erupted at 1.30am on July 15 last year.
