Minister hears hi-tech plans at Spode
BUSINESSES at Stoke-on-Trent'’s historic Spode site unveiled sectorleading hi-tech plans for the future during a visit by a Government minister.
Minister of State for Creative Industries, Arts and Tourism, Chris Bryant MP, was shown around the site by city MP Gareth Snell and Clare Wood of the British Ceramics Biennial.
‘The visit highlighted how the city’s creative industries are powering regeneration and helping Stoke-onTrent to secure new opportunities.
‘That includes a bid for formal Creative Cluster status which aims to bring in millions of pounds worth of investment in skills and research.
