Site offers outdoor pool and views across rolling hills

- Hayley Parker

AN upmarket North Staffordshire hotel loved by celebrities has expanded with new luxury accommodation for groups.

The Tawny in Consall - where many famous faces and football stars have enjoyed a break - has now launched a new self-catering property on the neighbouring Basford estate.

The Bath House is the latest addition to The Tawny’s luxury serviced holiday homes known as The Fledglings.

The Grade II-listed property dates back to the 19th century and is built in the style of a castle.

It boasts an outdoor heated pool with swim jet, a traditional sauna steam room, a chill box for cold water immersion, a barbecue with views across rolling hills, a private lake and cascades.

There is space for up to 10 guests and a stay costs from £1,000 night with a two-night minimum stay.
