31-year-old gave false name to police before coming clean
A MAN was caught sitting in a BMW with the engine running after smoking cannabis.
Mohammed Sarfraz has been handed 10 penalty points on his licence after he was caught in charge of a vehicle when over the legal limit for cannabis.
North Staffordshire Justice Centre heard the 31-year-old gave officers a false name before coming clean.
Prosecutor Helen Shipley said police were in Red House Crescent, Longton, at 10.45am on June 18 and walked to a small car park near the junction with Greendock Street.
