Crime spree earns serial thief 54-month prison sentence
BURGLAR Steven Salt went on a one-man crime spree in the same Stoke-on-Trent street - as the homeowners slept.
The 48-year-old broke into homes, garages, and a car on Timor Grove, in Trentham, in the early hours of May 27.
He then used stolen cards to buy goods from petrol stations and Greggs - and even bought an item on Vinted.
But some of the stolen stash was later found at his home in Sandbach Road in Cobridge. Now Salt, who had planned to leave Stoke-on-Trent for a new life in Cambridge, has been jailed for 54 months.
