Game over... MARION McMULLEN recalls the last throw for quiz show Bullseye 30 years ago

- MARION McMULLEN

DARTS-THEMED game show Bullseye came to an end 30 years ago this month with its host Jim Bowen handing out the final prizes.

The last edition of the ITV hit was broadcast after 15 series and nearly 350 episodes.

Star prizes ranged from caravan to furniture and those that missed out on those found themselves taking home a bendy Bully toy instead as a consolation prize.

Famously, Jim would tell the disappointed contestants whose darts skill let them down: “Let us have a look at what you could have won”.
