Jail for teen who lost temper when car prank backfired
TEENAGER Dominic Sivak has been jailed after he violently attacked two women when a practical joke went wrong.
The 19-year-old lost his temper after one of his victims ‘wound up’ his cousin.
Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court heard he threw a bottle at one woman who was a front seat passenger in a car. He then walked to the driver's side and smashed a window which left the driver with an injury.
The violence erupted on the car park of Longton Tesco after the victim pretended to drive off.
Both women required hospital treatment and have been ‘emotionally affected’
Now Sivak has been sentenced to 26 months in a young offenders' institution.
Prosecutor Omar Majid said the victims had been out on December 2 and in the early hours of December 3 they picked up Sivak and his cousin who their friend knew. They had a bottle of coke and a bottle of cognac. The women saw Sivak drink the cognac neat. His pupils were huge and ‘filled his eyes.
