A BANNED driver with an 'unprecedented' number of points on his licence was caught behind the wheel.
Joshua Preston was handed a roads ban last year after drink-driving in Scotland.
But the 33-year-old - who has 11 convictions for 19 offences - defied his ban and was seen driving on Leek Road on August 11. Prosecutor Charlotte Morgan told North Staffordshire Justice Centre that Preston had 50 points on his licence for a string of speeding offences committed between October 13 and October 29 in 2023.
