Attempted murder arrest after hit and run during street fight

Car collided with pedestrian in ‘disturbance’
POLICE are treating a hit-and-run collision between a car and a pedestrian as attempted murder.
The collision happened during a fight in George Avenue, in Meir. The violence erupted at 9.30pm on August 22.
A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “A man has been arrested following a nonstop collision in Stoke-on-Trent.
