£19m fund to help disabled and sick get back into work

Thousands to benefit as DWP pays for coaching and job-matching
SICK and disabled people are to benefit from up to £19 million in funding to get life-changing support into work.
The Department for Work and Pensions funding will support support 5,250 people in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.
They will be given intensive, personalised help including individual coaching from employment specialists, job matching services, and support for participants and employers.
Sick and disabled people and those facing complex barriers to work can self-refer to get the support, or they can be referred through healthcare professionals, local authorities, and the voluntary sector.
