Announces a hike in allowances, incentives for police personnel from constables to inspectors in State
THE Chief Minister Mohan Majhi today advised all the police personnel to keep up with the expectations and hopes of the people of the state and contribute towards making Odisha a model state in the field of peace and order.
He said this while addressing a meeting of senior functionaries of the Police Administration of the State where he announced a hike in allowance and incentive for personnel from constable to inspector rank.
In particular, the Chief Minister advised the police personnel to pay attention to how the helpless get help as soon as possible, how the vulnerable get immediate protection, and how FIRs are received promptly in all police stations and how timely investigations are conducted on those FIRs.
With the aim of making the state police force more efficient, Chief Minister Majhi today announced increase in the allowances and incentives of police personnel.
