ECoR achieves major milestone of new lines and multi-tracking in FY2024-25

EAST Coast Railway (ECoR) has set a remarkable record in the financial year 2024-25 (FY25), successfully adding a total of 281.5 kilometres of new railway lines and multi-tracking.

This marks an impressive 50 per cent increase over the previous fiscal year’s achieve-ment of 187.2 kilometres, underlining ECoR’s commit-ment to enhancing infrastruc-ture and expanding connectivi-ty across the region.

The significant progress was made possible through the dedicated efforts of ECoR’s Construction team, who have been working relentlessly to accelerate project timelines and improve the quality of infra-structure development. Shri Parmeshwar Funkwal, General Manager of East Coast Railway, expressed his congratulations to the entire team for their hard work and successful comple-tion of the projects, which involved regular coordination with state government authori-ties and other key stakeholders.
