Zeta-Jones and Guzmán on Bigger Spotlight in 'Wednesday' Season 2

Season 2 of "Wednesday" is giving bigger focus — and screen time — to the Addams family parents Morticia and Gomez, played by Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzmán.

While Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) continues to find her way through the eerie halls of Nevermore Academy, confront new enemies and dive into yet another supernatural mystery, this season also shines a brighter spotlight on the family dynamic at the heart of the story.

In a Zoom interview with The Philippine STAR, Catherine and Luis talked about returning to their roles, what fans can expect in the new season and why they think "Wednesday" continues to resonate around the world, especially with the announcement of a renewal for Season 3.

When asked what excited them most about reprising their characters this Season 2, Catherine said they didn't take their expanded roles for granted.

"Well, I think that we were honored that, you know, I think the fan base and the writers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, and Tim (Burton), our director, obviously wanted us more. That was very, very humbling, that was very sweet," she said.
