Tony Labrusca ticks all the boxes of a dreamboat. So, it's not surprising that he is cast as the contemporary knight in shining armor in the GMA Afternoon Prime series, "Binibining Marikit." Tony is one of the two leading men of Binibining Marikit or the beautiful lady herself, Herlene Budol. The other is Irish-Thai model and Manhunt International 2024 winner Kevin Dasom.
"This is my first," said the actor-singer of his debut project with the Kapuso network in a recent press conference. "I would like to say thank you to GMA for giving me this opportunity to play a dream role of mine as well. I'm very grateful to be playing Drew for 'Binibining Marikit.'"
As to why he considered the role a dream one, Tony shared, "It's because most roles that I've played, and I'm also really thankful for, lagi akong tatay, mayor, abogado o siraulo, oo, mabigat, eh (I usually play a young dad, a politician, a lawyer, or someone crazy. They are heavy, serious characters)," said he.
