Toyota has officially lifted the curtains off the all-new Toyota Ativ. This is the successor to the highly successful Vios that's been in the country since 2003.

THE SUCCESSOR IS HERE - MEET THE ALL-NEW TOYOTA ATIV

The Ativ (ey-tiv) will have three trim grades starting at PHP 916,000. Meanwhile, Toyota will still sell the Vios in more affordable J, XE, and XLE variants.

Size is close between the Vios and all-new Ativ. It has a marginal growth of 4,425mm (+5mm) in length, 1,740mm (+10mm) in width, 1,480mm (+5mm) in height, and 2,620mm (+70mm) in wheelbase. It also sits higher with 160mm of ground clearance in contrast to the Vios’s 133mm.

The Ativ is unarguably more elegant than its predecessor. It looks very close to the current Altis and the previous-generation Camry. The refined aesthetic is best shown by the 16-inch alloy wheels on the E and HEV trims, while the G sits on bigger 17-inch wheels. LED headlights are also standard across the range giving the Aitv a more uniform look no matter what trim you get. Auto-folding side mirrors are also available for G and HEV, while Sequential Turn Signals are exclusive for the hybrid trim.
