PNP to review policy on tattoo removal

Philippine National Police chief Gen. Rommel Marbil has ordered a review of the mandatory removal of visible tattoos among PNP members.

Potential health and medical issues have been raised with Marbil, especially for police personnel with underlying conditions that could be affected by tattoo removal procedures, PNP spokesperson Col. Jean Fajardo said at a press briefing yesterday.
