PNP to form committees to review dismissed cases

The Philippine National Police would establish committees to review cases filed by the PNP that were dismissed in court, an official said yesterday.

According to PNP spokesperson Col. Jean Fajardo, the creation of these committees follows the issuance of Department of Justice (DOJ) Circular 20, which mandates a closer collaboration between prosecutors and police officers to ensure a stronger case buildup.
