PNP to deploy 15,000 cops for Nov. 30 rally

Over 15,000 police officers will be deployed for the anti-corruption protest on Nov.30 to prevent saboteurs from infiltrating the rallies, according to the Philippine National Police (PNP).More than 300,000 participants are expected to join the Trillion Peso March, the Metro Manila police said.

Policemen forming the security contingent have increased by 65.91 percent from 9,099 personnel, according to PNP spokesman Brig. Gen. Randulf Tuano.

Protest actions will be held at the EDSA people power monument in Quezon City and Quirino Grandstand in Manila.
