The Philippine Health Insurance Corp. said its benefit claims payment to healthcare facilities nationwide could reach as high as P310 billion by the end of the year, PhilHealth said.

Dr. Edwin Mercado, PhilHealth president, said that from the P217.93 billion it released as benefit claims to hospitals from January to September, they are looking at making additional payment of about P92 billion to hospitals during the latter part of December.
