PhilHealth amnesty processing starts Jan. 24

Employers with missed premium contributions can start applying for the granting of waiver of interest on Jan. 24, according to the Philippine Health Insurance Corp.
"This is for employers, self-employed and business people with missed premium contributions starting July 2013 up to December 2024," PhilHealth senior vice president for health finance policy sector Israel Pargas said at the Bagong Pilipinas Ngayon program yesterday.
He said employers will be processed for now. A separate policy for the self-employed will be issued.
