Malacañang has declared special nonworking days in several areas in the country to allow residents to fully participate in their respective celebrations.

Proclamation No. 1131 declared Jan. 22 a special nonworking day in Guiguinto, Bulacan to mark the celebration of the Halamanan Festival.

Meanwhile, Proclamation Nos. 1135 and 1139 declared Feb. 2 a special nonworking day in Katipunan, Zamboanga del Norte in celebration of its 112th Araw ng Katipunan and in Mabalacat City, Pampanga for its 314th founding anniversary, respectively.
