New NBI chief vows reforms to curb corruption, bias

Newly appointed National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) chief Angelito Magno yesterday vowed to enforce internal reforms within the agency to eliminate corruption, bias and misconduct among its personnel.
Magno, who officially took over the post following the resignation of Jaime Santiago, said ensuring accountability would be his top priority as he begins instituting “moral reforms” within the bureau.
