New Generation of Artists Supports Campaign to Help Undernourished Children
The Philippine Star
|May 22, 2025
Art has long been a powerful tool that allows artists to express their individuality or provide a visual commentary on social issues that can inspire change and healthy dialogues.
-
Knowing the influence of art, World Vision has teamed up with Raya Gallerie and DryBrush Gallery for the "Next Gen: The New Faces of Art Exhibit and Auction" to support the humanitarian organization's "Bawat Batang Pinoy Malusog" (BBPM) campaign.
The exhibit and auction are set to happen at Dry Brush Gallery MOA in MOA Square, Mall of Asia, Pasay City with a by-invite-only auction on May 24, 2025 at 2 p.m., art workshop for kids on May 25 from 1-3 p.m., and public viewing from May 18 to 30 (except May 24).
A portion of the proceeds from the art auction will go to World Vision's BBPM campaign which aims to rehabilitate 7,700 undernourished children by giving them access to live-saving nutrition and provide more than 919,700 individuals with access to clean drinking water by 2026.
BBPM supports children through key interventions including Positive Deviance/Hearth—a nutrition rehabilitation for undernourished children; Go Baby Go parenting program; and WASH which ensures access to clean water, hand-washing facilities, and sanitation in both households and schools to prevent disease.
