Marcos renews call for discipline, unity in 2026

As Filipinos welcome 2026, President Marcos is renewing his call for discipline, unity and readiness to choose service over self-interest for the nation’s progress.

“As we step into the unfolding days ahead, may we move forward with a clearer understanding of our role in each other's lives and a renewed commitment to building a future shaped not by circumstance alone, but by the strength of our will and the clarity of our collective purpose,” the President said in his New Year’s message.

Marcos urged Filipinos to reflect on the past year’s experiences, stressing the value of learning from challenges while looking to the future with hope.

The Chief Executive also emphasized the value of personal discipline and collective effort in shaping the nation’s future.
