It's another exciting and engaging role for her after the latter's short but vital appearance in the story of GMA Afternoon Prime intense drama, "Akusada," with Andrea Torres in the title role.
"We've just finished a lock-in in Bataan," Max gave everyone an update when The STAR asked about the show in a recent group interview. “Dingdong has done a lot of action scenes and everything. Me (as my character), I’m just sitting pretty as an island girl. The boys were the ones na pagod na pagod kasi ang daming action scenes (the male actors were very tired because they did many action scenes)."
"Maybe, like, this is my fourth or fifth (time) as a leading lady," added the Kapuso actress, the brand ambassador of the wellness and weight-loss product Extra Curvee Coffee by S&J Beauty. The latter's CEO is Shiela Mae Bonifacio.
"It's more like me though, it's my other part of me. Deep inside I’m really an island girl, like, we used to live in Boracay when I was younger," said Max of her character, "parang nakaka-balik ako sa roots ko (it somehow allows me to return to my roots), the feeling of the sand, the sea, I love being by the sea. I feel at home. So, ang saya (it's fun). It's close to my heart."
