Hyundai updates the Stargazer: More mainstream, more upscale

Featuring heavily revamped styling that swaps the futuristic, rounded for a bolder, more SUV-esque look, the new Stargazer receives new front and rear ends that take after the latest Hyundai SUV design. The new Sheriff-style front combination lights—now mounted conventionally in contrast to the bumper-situated lighting units of its predecessor—and highly detailed grille are the biggest changes to the fascia. The rear highlights a sharp refresh on the distinctive H-signature LED taillights and bumper.

An exclusive to the Stargazer X is a new functional bridge-type roof rail to complement active lifestyles. This can accommodate extra cargo storage of up to 100kg—perfect for quick weekend getaways or family adventures. Combined with its class-leading 2,780mm wheelbase and 17" alloy wheels, the Stargazer offers more stability, space, and unmistakable character to its segment.

Under the hood, the new Stargazer is powered by a 1.5L gasoline engine delivering 115ps and 144Nm of torque. Fuel efficiency is claimed to be 16.95 km/L (expect a test drive report on this soon).
