FCF Minerals to unlock Abra's mining potential
The Philippine Star
|January 16, 2025
A subsidiary of FCF Minerals Corp., the mining company behind the Runruno gold-molybdenum project, is setting its sights on unlocking the untapped mineral wealth of Abra province.
-
"Abra holds immense potential for responsible and sustainable mineral development. We are eager to begin exploration to confirm the extent of its mineral resources and accelerate the timeline for investments that will directly benefit the people of Abra," said Darren Bowden, president and CEO of Metals Exploration Plc and FCF Minerals.
"Our goal is to replicate, and even surpass, the success we've achieved in Runruno by fostering economic growth, environmental stewardship and community development in Abra," said Bowden.
FCF Minerals, a subsidiary of Metals Exploration Plc, recently acquired a controlling interest in Yamang Mineral Corp., which holds significant exploration tenements in Abra. This strategic move aligns with FCF's vision to expand its global critical minerals operations.
