FAN SERVICE AT ITS FINEST:

A "good boy," indeed. South Korean star Park Bo-gum delivered the ultimate fan service during his return to the Philippines for the Manila leg of his "Be With You" fan meeting tour on Friday at the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena. The event was a testament to how deeply he has appreciated his Filipino fans throughout the years.

Presented by The Black Label and promoted by Live Nation Philippines, there was no dull moment in the show that spanned for almost four hours.

After his opening acts, Annyeong and Just Fine, he engaged in a conversation with the event host Sam Oh followed by heartwarming fan interaction and touching musical performances armed with his radiant smile, natural charisma and adorable acts.

As an ode to his role as Yoon Dong-ju in the series "Good Boy," Bo-gum was dressed up in a police uniform when he talked about the concept of the show as well as his characters in his acting works. The segments were like a train ride, featuring various "stations," and Bo-gum would say, "Choo choo, lalarga na," as a cue that he had arrived at each stop.

Bo-gum expressed his gratitude to his supporters who were still with him six years after his last fan meet in the country.

"Thank you for still being with me. I'm so grateful. Thank you for your time, thank you for coming today. We're really making good memories together. From my debut until now, you guys have always been with me. So I just want to say thank you and I'm gonna be with you too."

He apologized for his "not-so-perfect English" but still made an effort to convey his words in the language. When speaking in Korean, a translator was there to help him communicate with the audience who didn't mind as long as they could understand their beloved idol.
