DOJ offers P1-M reward for info on Cassie Ong

The Department of Justice (DOJ) is offering a P1-million reward for information leading to the location and arrest of Cassandra Li Ong, who is wanted for qualified human trafficking over her alleged involvement in the illegal activities of a Philippine offshore gaming operator (POGO).
DOJ Acting Secretary Fredderick Vida said the department will give the reward for “credible, actionable information” that will lead to the location and arrest of Ong.
“We know from the past that they have the ability to move around, enter and exit the Philippines undetected. This is so we can take her to court and the case can move forward,” he said.
Vida's announcement came after a Pasig City Regional Trial Court (RTC) ordered the cancellation of Ong’s passport along with several others.
