Comelec: ACMs to arrive in time for 2025 elections

The Commission on Elections sees no delay in the arrival of newly manufactured automated counting machines (ACMs) that would be used in the May 2025 general elections, Comelec Chairman George Garcia said yesterday.
Service provider Miru Systems is expected to deliver the 110,000 ACMs as scheduled, according to Garcia.
Based on the Comelec timeline for the 2025 polls, 20,000 ACMs are set to arrive from South Korea by August. An additional 30,000 ACMs are supposed to arrive by September.
