BOI, DEVCON Partner to Upskill Filipino Workforce

The Board of Investments (BOI) has teamed up with the country's largest community of developers and technology experts to enhance the skills of the Filipino workforce to meet industry needs.
In a statement, the BOI said Trade Undersecretary and BOI managing head Ceferino Rodolfo, together with DevConnect Philippines Inc. (DEVCON) president and founder Winston Damarillo and DEVCON executive director Dominique De Leon, signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on Feb. 27.
The partnership aims to develop critical and foundational skills in engineering and technology starting from the basic education level.
DEVCON is a non-stock, non-profit organization committed to helping equip Filipinos with the necessary skills to thrive in the digital economy.
