August 28, 2025

President Marcos will embark on a state visit to Cambodia from Sept. 7 to 9, Malacañang announced yesterday.

Presidential Communications Undersecretary Claire Castro said the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) will release the details of the President's visit. This will be Marcos' second visit to Cambodia since he assumed office in 2022.

The President is also set to participate in the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York next month.

In November 2022, Marcos participated in the 40th and 41st Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) summit held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet made an official visit to the Philippines last February.

WASACHI'S FIRST INTERNATIONAL BRANCH IS NOW IN MANILA

It only took a single visit for Jaime Daez, founder and managing director of Fully Booked, to go green. “A friend of mine from Malaysia told me about Wasachi in December of 2024, and told me that this was the best matcha in Tokyo that he had tried and that I had to check it out,” he recalls. “I was in Tokyo the following month, and had to see for myself if the matcha was, indeed, that good. I left the café a believer and a converted matcha enthusiast.”
