As the eldest among four children, JM Binasoy felt a strong sense of responsibility to support himself and his family from a young age.
-
While he had already gained diverse work experience in manufacturing, logistics and the hospitality industry, he wanted to strive for a better career and future. When JM witnessed his brother become part of the Contact Center Readiness Program (CCRP) at Tuloy Foundation and join Capital One Philippines, he decided to follow the same path in 2018.
JM is just one of 1.7 million Filipinos whose careers are built within the thriving IT-BPM industry. A cornerstone of the Philippine economy, this sector closed 2024 with remarkable milestones: 1.82 million jobs and $38 billion in revenue, according to the IT and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP).
To sustain this growth and maintain its global competitiveness, the industry has identified crucial gaps in the workforce given the evolving skills and demands of the global market. Capital One Philippines developed the Contact Center Readiness Program (CCRP) to help bridge the talent gap for underprivileged communities.
