The two-day National Conference on “Biodiversity and Climate Change: Challenges and Solutions” concluded on Wednesday with a valedictory session highlighting the need for interdisciplinary research and practical climate action.
Prof. Neelu Rohmetra, Dean Research Studies, University of Jammu, graced the valedictory function as Chief Guest, while Prof. Yash Pal Sharma, Dean Life Sciences, attended as Guest of Honour. Addressing the gathering, Prof. Rohmetra stressed that small life style changes—such as reducing energy use, conserving water, using reusable items and adopting plant-based diets—can collectively make a significant impact
