Movement Kalki, RBD protest over rise in animal trafficking incidents

Members of Movement Kalki and Rashtriya Bajrang Dal (RBD) jointly staged a protest in Jammu on Monday, condemning the rise in cow slaughter and animal trafficking incidents, particularly in the Jammu and Kashmir region.
The demonstration was sparked by a series of viral social media posts allegedly promoting Gau Mata (Mother Cow) as a sacrificial animal on several Kashmir-based news portals. Leaders of both organizations warned the administration, including the office of the Lieutenant Governor, of intensified public agitation if swift action was not taken. Protesters also cited the recent killing of an Assistant Sub-Inspector in Samba
