Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA from Doda, Mehraj Malik, was arrested on Monday and booked under the Public Safety Act (PSA), the second instance of a sitting legislator in Jammu & Kashmir being detained under the law.
The first sitting Legis] ator ever arrested under PSA in Jammu Kashmir was Prof. Bhim Singh who was arrested on his way to attend the Legislative session in 1985.
