Gupta welcomes India-Pakistan Ceasefire

Rattan Lal Gupta, Provincial President of the Jammu & Kashmir National Conference (NC), has welcomed the recently announced India-Pakistan ceasefire, calling it a crucial step toward peace and a much-needed reprieve for border residents facing continuous danger and hardship.
In a press statement issued on Tuesday, Gupta said, “This is a welcome step—though delayed. Had this ceasefire come just two days earlier, we could have avoided unnecessary bloodshed and loss of precious lives.”
