CSIR-IIIM holds floral drawing, painting contest

The CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (CSIR-IIIM), Jammu, organised a Floral Drawing and Painting Competition for children on Sunday at its main campus on Canal Road as a precursor event to the upcoming Flower Show-cum-Flori Tech Conclave 2026.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 400 students representing more than 50 schools, who were accompanied by their parents and teachers.
The competition was organised by the Plant Sciences and Agrotechnology Division of CSIR-IIIM as a precursor event to the Flower Show.
The competition was conducted in three age categories — Group I (6-8 years), Group II (9-12 years), and Group III (13-16 years).
Children showcased impressive creativity and imagination through colourful drawings and paintings inspired by flowers, nature and the environment, transforming the campus into a lively display of artistic expression.
