5 drug peddlers arrested

Kulgam: Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Police have arrested 05 drug peddlers in Awantipora & Kulgam and recovered contraband substances from their possession.
A police team from Police Post Toll Plaza headed by Incharge Police Post Toll Plaza under the supervision of SDPO Awantipora at a checkpoint established at Kaigam Crossing, intercepted two suspicious individuals. Upon search, 315 grams of Charas like substance (in shape of Sticks) was recovered from their possession and were subsequently arrested. They have been identified as Mayser Ahmad Sheikh son of Gh. Mohammad Sheikh resident of Ladermar, Arshid Ahmad Sheikh son of Gh. Mohammad Sheikh resident of Gadibal Handwara Maidani Chugal Handwara.
